The question why Ryan Hart endorsed Ridgefield Barbie is answered: She bought him.

Politics is a quid pro quo deal, but I never thought that Ryan Hart was endorsing Barbie because she bought him... but that's a hard conclusion to avoid now.

As a county chair, Hart had no right to endorse in a contested primary. His "reason" for violating the ethics of his position was always lame ("I promised") and so I wondered for the last year why he would chuck the responsibilities of his position to sell out to the local empty suit.

Well, now I know.

Hart just got announced as the Camas Manikin's district director. So, his endorsement was the price of getting on congressional staff.

Thanks a lot, Ryan. Appreciate you selling us out.
Congressional Staff
Posted on 4th January 2011 at 08:53

Third District Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler is starting to round out her staff, announcing that Ryan Hart and Shari Hildreth will lead her District Office. Hart will be the District Director, while Hildreth will be the Deputy District Director. Herrera Beutler says that both Hart and Hildreth are local residents that have a “passion” for the region, and will be able to hit the ground running, helping to serve the people of the area from day one. She also announced yesterday that the Vancouver District Office will officially open Thursday morning. Herrera Beutler will have her Vancouver office at the O. O. Howard House, located at 750 Anderson Street, Suite B. The office will open at 8 am on Thursday, and will be open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The phone number is 360-695-6292, and the fax is 360-695-6197. If the address and phone numbers seem somewhat familiar, that’s because Herrera Butler is renting the same space that Brian Baird used for his district office, and is taking over the same phone numbers. Her website at www.herrerabeutler.com will go live after tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony in Washington, D. C.
Well, at least it wasn't that clueless moron from Pacific County or that idiot from Snohomish.

If only we could have had Allen West representing us in Congress...

Instead of that paper-thin, empty-suited non-entity that we are unfortunate to be stuck with, Republican Representative and war hero Allen West (R-FL22) is the kind of Congressman we need.
I really like the sound of our guys on the Sunday talk shows.

Let's start with Rep.-Elect Allen West (R-FL) on Fox News Sunday.

Q: Then, in November, you said -- and here's the quote -- "that this liberal, progressive, socialist agenda... this left-wing, vile, vicious, despicable machine that’s out there is soundly brought to its knees..." Tyrannical? Socialist? Despicable? Is it really as bad as that?

A: "I think it is... when you look at the nationalization of so much of our production: the automobile industry, the health care industry, the fact that we had an amendment in the health care law that allowed the federal government to take over education, when you look at the fact that we are creating more victims and making more people dependent upon the government... when you look at the incredible debt and deficits that has occurred over the last two fiscal years, we're going in the wrong direction...

...This liberal-progressive agenda is the antithesis of who we are as a Constitutional republic."
I really, really, really like Allen West.
Unlike Ridgefield Barbie, Colonel West fearlessly speaks his mind.

But then, unlike Babs, prevarication has not been one of West's fine suits.

Is he over the top?

Maybe. But there is no question where he stands, unlike our bimbette, who has yet to make her positions clear on ANYTHING... but then, that's what cowardice can do for a girl, I suppose.

I hope that LTC West has just started his political journey. I hope that Herrera's ends as quickly as possible.

Hey, Barbie... show us if you've got some guts.

Your hopefully short-lived tenure has been a disaster to date; your ongoing, cowardly refusal to take a position on anything may be "cute" or "smart" to an empty suit like you... and it may be what your keepers want.

So, here's a way you can repair some small amount of the damage you're causing yourself:

GOP Congressman Walsh Declines Health Insurance

Rep.-elect Joe Walsh of Illinois has become the third freshman Republican to turn down the gold-plated government-sponsored health insurance plan available to lawmakers. "I don’t think congressmen should get pensions or cushy healthcare plans," he tells the Chicago News Cooperative, The Hill reports.

The other two incoming GOP freshmen shunning their government health insurance are Reps. Bobby Schilling of Illinois and Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania.

Democrats are pressuring Republicans in Congress who oppose Obamacare to drop their own government coverage.

That pressure grew after Rep.-elect Andy Harris, R-Md., reportedly complained in a private November meeting that his government healthcare benefits didn’t start until next year.

But Walsh's wife is reportedly upset with her husband's move. She has a pre-existing medical condition and will have to buy her own insurance, the Chicago News Cooperative reports.

I don't see your name there, Babs. So, here's your chance to man up, and dump that Cadillac package that comes with your job.

After all, you were such a liar during your campaign when you babbled that you weren't "the typical Republican."

Well, now's your chance to show it.

Should we hold our breath?

Ridgefield Barbie's keeper forces a name change, decided before the election.

As yet another sign that Jaime Herrera is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dr. Frankenstein character who built her from spare parts around the office, an official, post-election (So the hispanic surname wouldn't get buried on the ballot or in the press releases) name change has taken place.

Jaime "Ridgefield Barbie" Herrera is now known as Jaime "The Camas Manikin" Herrera BUETLER (Or, "Butler," to aficionados) because her boss, Cathy McMorris Rogers, wanted it that way.

The press release, which is total fiction, spews this garbage:
Now that the dust from the campaign has settled, I’ve had the chance to thoughtfully consider and make a permanent choice regarding this personal decision about my family,” she said in her release.
Besides the fact that Herrera hasn't done a "thoughtful" thing in her government careered life, the fact of the matter is this:

The decision to do this was made BEFORE the election. The proof?

Herrera recycled all of her campaign signs starting November 3. She didn't keep any of them.

It had not one damned thing to do with "dust settling," or "thoughtful consideration."

CMR did it this way. CMR told Barbie to do it this way. Barbie hears and obeys. Which will ultimately be the story of her hopefully brief time in office.

Herrera, who's tenure to date has been marked by her cowardly failures to take any positions on ANYTHING, is at least to be congratulated for making a decision about SOMETHING, even as moronic as putting her name familiarity ahead of her familial duty, and convention, of becoming Jamie Beutler.

Course, there's nothing particularly hispanic about that. And being 1/2 hispanic for Herrera is much the same as John Kerry's Vietnam "service," such as it was.

Where people used to say, "Hey... did you know John Kerry served in Vietnam?" They'll now say, "Hey, did you know Jaime Herrera is hispanic?"

Like Herrera, the name thing is a joke. And, it serves as yet another example that when it comes to CMR, Mr. Lincoln didn't really free the slaves, and the 13th Amendment is, in reality, the 13th Suggestion.

By the way... did you know that Jamie Herrera is hispanic?

So, there you have it. Ridgefield Barbie starts her tenure off with yet another lie. But then, isn't that what we've grown to expect from her and her keepers?

Cross posted on Clark County Politics. And as a reminder... Herrera will always be Ridgefield Barbie to me.

Ridgefield Barbie's new name? Ridgefield Gutless.

Babs has got to figure out that the campaign is over, and her empty suit package act will no longer work.

First, her bogus, nonsensical lies concerning her committee assignments.

Her main keeper, Cathy McMorris Rogers (CMR) is number 3 or 4 in House Leadership. There was never a question as to what committees she was going to get. Why she'd lie about that is as mysterious as to why she'd lie about her job with CMR, and the basis for her SEIU support and her decision to help the democrats strip out the last $229 million from the state emergency fund.

The fact is that the decision concerning her committee assignments was made long before the election even took place.

Second, the gutless, campaigning Barbie shines through here:
Herrera declined to state a position on the sweeping tax package negotiated by President Obama and congressional Republicans, which passed the Senate Wednesday on an 81-19 vote and is now headed for the House.

“I don’t get a chance to vote on it or to weigh in,” she said. “During the campaign, I made it clear I’m not going to raise taxes. I’m committed to that.”
Cowardice is hardly an attractive trait in our "leaders." Grow a pair and tell us, Babs. This is, after all, America, and you ARE allowed to have an independent thought in your head, even if you've skipped that part of thinking for the past 5 years or so.

And this:
She said she likely would have voted for the 13-month extension of federal unemployment benefits. “With as many people unemployed in our region as we’ve got, I don’t see that there’s an option. However, I believe it should have been offset” with cuts in other areas, she said.
One of the first things I learned in Olympia was that the voting machine doesn't count a "reluctant yes" any differently than a regular "yes." Voting the way the democrats want is a well-established pattern by our local empty suit. Add tens of billions to the deficit?

Noooo problem. There IS an "option." It's to understand that by extending unemployment checks, you're extending unemployment. But then, you've never been the brightest bulb on the tree.
Herrera also declined to take a position on whether she would support an increase in the federal gas tax if that becomes necessary to help pay the federal share of a new Columbia River Crossing. During her campaign, she said she was opposed to burdensome tolls on commuters who use the bridge and believed the federal government should pay “the lion’s share” of the cost. The total cost of the project is estimated at $3.6 billion.

“I’m on board with making sure the federal government understands this is something that needs to be taken care of,” she said. “I’m operating under imperfect information.”
Since when has that ever stopped you? We don't pay your empty-suited behind to "decline to take positions." We need to know what's rattling around that empty head so we know what to "Stuart" you over.

I'm reminded of a 19th century Officer Evaluation Report I read once. I believe the characteristics were something like this:

"poor fellow... unfit to carry the hod."

Your continuing cowardice and lack of understanding will make me think of that unnamed lieutenant every time I read about you, Babs.

Special Session on Saturday: Will Ridgefield Barbie blow it off?

Special Session is on for Saturday. Now that the Camas Manikin has hit the bigs, will she once again blow session off?

After all, she blew a lot of it off earlier this year so she could fund raise, while her seatmate, Rep. Kevin Parker (R-Spokane) pressed the buttons so it would show she had "voted," even when she wasn't around.

So, is Her Royal Highness going to make it into Olympia?

Or will she, as I suspect, send her regrets?

Stay tuned.

Ridgefield Barbie: The Lies Continue.

So imagine my surprise when I discovered that Brian Baird had resigned early... and that the Camas Manikin had already been sworn in!
.
For the aficionado, Herrera is NOT "U.S. Rep." Herrera, God help us, is "U.S. Rep - ELECT" . There is a difference.

Words, of course, have meaning. The use of a title she has not yet attained is reminiscent of Herrera's exaggerations about her claims concerning her employment with her chief keeper, Cathy McMorris Rogers.
.
Her bogus labeling as a "Senior Legislative Assistant" was part and parcel of the many reasons I opposed her election.... and her appointment to the state House... because the truth and Herrera are frequently strangers in a wide variety of minor... and major... ways.
.
Lying (Or even exaggerating) about something as relatively unimportant as a title... like she did for the 11 months of her congressional campaign and like she's lying now go directly to the question of her integrity.
.
If she will lie and/or exaggerate about her title... what else will she lie or exaggerate about?

The sky's the limit... as we, no doubt, will come to find out.
.
Which brings us to this self-flagellating article written by someone else, reassuring us that Ridgefield Barbie, in fact, has a clue.
.
As one of her constituents in the state house for the past 3 years, I looked for that. I eagerly awaited the spark... the proof that she wasn't lying when she told the already-in-the-bag commissioners that
“Every step I have taken since high school has been preparing me for this. There is not a job in the world I would rather have.”
Clearly, her election to Congress 60 seconds later put the lie to that.

Ultimately, I was disappointed. She got a grand total of one bill passed, the "Baby Bill" that all new reps are given to teach them the process, an agreed bill that allows them to shepard something through both houses... sort of a bill with training wheels. That bill was buried under the sewage of her SEIU sell out and her decision to help the democrats strip out the last dime of the state emergency fund.

Like her other lies, her failure to disclose that she was parachuted in here after an 11 year absence entirely for the purpose of running for Congress goes to the heart of the matter.

Herrera' performance during the appointment process was pathetic. Additional lies and exaggerations concerning her "accomplishments" during her multiple internships; the fact that she relied so heavily on her catch phrase "I wouldn't pretend to presume to know," her complete lack of private sector experience; never having a private sector job, never owning a home... her only ties to this area for the decade before her appointment being a voter registration card... these are the reason I have opposed her in the past.

Garbage like that whoever is shilling for her dropped in the newspaper today is why I will continue to oppose her in the future.

The meaningless drivel in this letter to the editor... the same empty, non-specific promises... the very idea that as a back-bencher freshman member of congress she can do ANYTHING to effect policy, fix the economy, put people back to work, straighten out our foreign policy... these things are, well, all complete nonsense.

She had the opportunity here to tell the truth. And once again, she took a pass.

Clearly, while she claims her office will be a "no arrogance zone," she needs to review the tape of her disastrous appearance at the Tea Party function down here where I was characterized as "one of the few people in the district to oppose her candidacy."

Here's a clue, Babs. In the primary... 76% of the people voted for someone else.

And in the election, 47% of the people did not vote for you. In short, I was one of the tens of thousands who did not want you to darken the congressional doorway. "Arrogance" is your middle name, because like many spoiled brats who didn't have to work for what they've been given, you take all of this for granted.

Unfortunately for us, while your OFFICE may be a "no arrogance zone," it will also be a "no veracity zone." And YOUR arrogance will continue abated. Just ask Bunny.

Ridgefield Barbie's favorite union, SEIU 1199, dumps insurance coverage for the children of 30,000 workers.

As we all know by know, the Empty Suit recently elected to Congress from the 5th District (Ahem.... I meant the THIRD district) was a big supporter of the SEIU. Co-sponsoring and voting for legislation that would have required day care workers to join that union while the OWNERS of day care facilities payed their dues, Babs worked that bill like they were paying her... which, come to think of it, they were.

Well, these fine, upstanding-hypocrite-major-supporters-of-Obamacare have just dumped the children of 30,000 low-wage home attendants, reinforcing both what a lying scumbag Obama is is and how utterly worthless unions generally and this one specifically happen to be.

Here it is: read it and, well, you know.

Union Drops Health Coverage for Workers’ Children

By Yuliya Chernova

Associated
Pree
Jason Morales, an 1199SEIU member from Brooklyn, protested proposed health-care cuts in the state budget in June. A benefit fund for the union is dropping insurance coverage for workers’ children.

One of the largest union-administered health-insurance funds in New York is dropping coverage for the children of more than 30,000 low-wage home attendants, union officials said. The union blamed financial problems it said were caused by the state’s health department and new national health-insurance requirements.

The fund is administered by 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, an affiliate of the Service Employees International Union. Union officials said the state compelled the fund to start buying coverage from a third party, which increased premiums by 60%. State health officials denied forcing the union fund to make the switch, saying the fund had been struggling financially even before the switch to third-party coverage.

The fund informed its members late last month that their dependents will no longer be covered as of Jan. 1, 2011. Currently about 6,000 children are covered by the benefit fund, some until age 23.

The union fund faced a “dramatic shortfall” between what employers contributed to the fund and the premiums charged by its insurance provider, Fidelis Care, according to Mitra Behroozi, executive director of benefit and pension funds for 1199SEIU. The union fund pools contributions from several home-care agencies and then buys insurance from Fidelis.

H/T to the Wall Street Journal and More:

Yeah, it's just that kind of corruption that was one of the factors that made Barbie such an... attractive... candidate.

So, what is he democratian's bizarre Ridgefield Barbie fixation?

TWO articles on the Camas Manikin's office draw?

Man, I thought Barnett, Huff, Malin and Earling were kool aid drinkers... but this garbage? I had to replace my keyboard after I blew chunks all over the last one.

Of all the things to write about... all the issues confronting us today... and all the time and energy the rag has been spending doing Barbie's PR... this is the best they could write about?

I had no idea she'd worn out so many sets of kneepads.

Memo to Lou: You've gone off the deep end over this political waste of skin. Give it a rest... and polish her future screw ups as she replaces your pet leftist as the token Republican liberal you support.

Gotta wonder: who else is Ridgefield Barbie going to hire? Her lackies, Malin and Earling?

Herrera's Handlers have ordered her to keep her campaign team on to make every effort to keep Ridgefield Barbie from jamming her foot in her mouth up to her knee. But that's at party-central for her, Washington, DC.

Who gets the local nod for district office(s) and the like?

Early money are on a couple of morons named Nan Malin and Eric Earling.

Malin is known for two things: spending 12 hours a day increasing her twitter following, and being absolutely the worst county GOP chair in the history of politics.

Malin rolled over and did everything she could to get the Camas Manikin elected, insulting and attacking anyone and everyone who was smart enough to oppose this moron. Hers was one of 3 counties moronic enough to endorse Barbie in the primary... and of those 3 counties... 3... they ran a combined total of ONE Republican candidate. That means, that Ridgefield Barbie, the GOP Queen of the SEIU, nailed down the leftist vote early and often.

As it turns out, there was no lie this low life wouldn't spew for Babs, including writing and having published a vitriolic work of absolute fiction attacking a sitting state senator for telling the truth about that political waste of skin Malin was on her knees in front of for the duration of the campaign.

As for her utter worthlessness as a county party chair?

Were was Malin on election night? You'd think she would have been somewhere in her Pacific County, waiting with other GOP members, candidates, family members and supporters for election returns.

You'd think that.

But, she was here at the Quay, getting pissed off because that same senator told her to stuff it when she approached him after assassinating his character and integrity in a self-attempt to excuse her horrific behavior by characterizing it as "just politics."

And why wasn't she in Pacific County awaiting the returns from the election for the GOP candidates in that county?

Simple. There weren't any.

Malin is so worthless, so utterly focused on Malin to the exclusion of everything else, including her duties as a county chair, that as a result of her Titanic efforts to be THE GOP social butterfly, not a single GOP candidate was running for anything in Pacific County.

That's right. Not one. Democrats could celebrate on filing day, because due to her utter incompetence and her complete use of her position ONLY to further the greater glory of Nansen Malin, not a single Republican filed for any elective office anywhere in Pacific County.

Expect the congressional empty suit to hire her. Having a proven leg-humper on your staff can be invaluable, until you tire of it.

Then there's Eric Earling, a juvenile non-entity who doesn't live within 80 miles of the 3rd District but who worked double overtime to shill for Barbie in ways that were down right embarrassing.

Earling, who's never ran for office, not successfully campaigned for anything since 6th grade, is a legend in his own mind. The other of the 2 coat holders (Malin being the first) Earling was an early kool aid drinker in the Keath Huff/Shannon Barnett mold... and moldy they are.

How could you tell Earling was lying about his Babs? Easy. He twittered.

Like Malin, there was no lie he wouldn't tell in support of a moron who will not be representing HIM, since he lives no where near the district. But then, like most of Barbie's kool aiders, that cult of personality is mystifying to those with fully functioning brains.

I expect Herrera to hire him to sweep out the office or something... because along with Malin, their rabid wheel b arrow/shovel act for that moron is worthy of something.

The Democratian tells us "Herrera hits the Hill." Looks like the Hill hit back; forced to keep her campaign keepers.

Well, the word's out that McMorris has forced Herrera to hire her campaign keepers.

This isn't a particularly flattering picture of Ridgefield Barbie. But then, there aren't any particularly flattering pictures of the empty suit now representing the 5th District.

Clearly, the staff McMorris put together has been kept on to keep Babs from looking like a total, blithering idiot.

If that's possible.

Herrera hits the Hill

Baird confronts transition, unfinished business

Rep.-elect Jaime Herrera of Camas, a Republican, talks with reporters on Capitol Hill in Washington on during Congressional freshmen orientation.

Rep.-elect Jaime Herrera of Camas, a Republican, talks with reporters on Capitol Hill in Washington on during Congressional freshmen orientation.

Herrera, a state lawmaker from Camas, beat moderate Democrat Denny Heck of Olympia in the Nov. 2 election. She replaces six-term Democratic U.S. Rep. Brian Baird, who retired and delivered this blast at Democrats and Republicans.

Also hired by Herrera: Afton Swift, a former aide to U.S. Reps. Jack Metcalf in the 2nd and Doc Hastings in the 4th, and Bowman, her 3rd-district campaign manager and spokesman.

Swift also had a role with Dino Rossi's gubernatorial races. Vander Stoep is a former state representative whose district served Thurston, Lewis and a few other 3rd district counties.

Herrera issued this statement:

"This experienced transition team will help provide organization and focus as I hire staff who will help me solve the problems facing Southwest Washington … They understand that I want them to help me identify qualified people who have a passion for serving the public, and who have our region's best interests at heart."

Impressions on an election night.

First some awards.

Slimiest creatures to show up at the GOP Victory Party?

1. Keath Huff.

Huff was the gutless scumbag behind my namesake blog. In coming after me because I was constantly bitch-slapping Ridgefield Barbie for being a complete waste of political skin, that little worm decided he could attack and repeatedly trash Ann Rivers.

Huff is scum.

And then after all that, what does that slimeball do? He leaves this on Ann's FaceBook page:

It takes a genuine asshole to try and make nice after doing so much deliberate damage and engaging in an effort to politically destroy someone, particularly when that someone wasn't even in your district.

A grade A, number one anal orifice.

"Congrats?"

I understand your attraction to a complete empty suit like Barbie. But I will never forget the playground bullshit you ran in a genuine effort to destroy Ann's candidacy as if that would somehow shut me up about that clown in your picture... when all it did was to make me even more determined to see her out of politics, an effort I will literally spend the rest of my life engaged in thanks in large part to your work.

I can't speak for Ann. But she ought to kick you in what's left of your miniature testicles until you can't see straight.

2. Jon Russell.

Russell's lies and support of the Huffer's blogging efforts are well known. His support and work with the democrat Rivers destroyed in the election are even better known.

The political Russell's of the world are what give politics a bad name. Lying about his education to everyone, how much money he raised to the PCO's, and his wife being a doctor should have made him ashamed to show his face.

3. Nansen Malin.

Malin is the elected chair of the Pacific County GOP, a county something on the order of 100 miles from the victory party in Clark County. I wondered what the hell she would be doing HERE instead of her OWN county on an election night, until I remembered that because of her stellar efforts as a county GOP Chair, not a single Republican ran for anything anywhere in her entire county for this election.

Not one candidate.

Anywhere.

For any position.

In all of Pacific County.

Best known for sending out a lying, scum-filled, vitriolic letter filled with false accusations and lies against a sitting state senator, Nan is all about using her position to be THE GOP social butterfly, working SO hard, EVERYWHERE in Washington State, except where she NEEDS to work: Pacific County.

Don't need to work there if, after all, you're such a failure that you can't even find someone to run for ANYTHING.

So, of course, if you're an abysmal, colossal, utter failure as a GOP County Chair and you're applying for the full time position of toady to an empty suit, why would you actually spend time in the county you were elected to run on an election night?

Silly me.

2. Biggest surprise.

a. I am surprised that Allen Svehaug appears to be the winner for the county commission seat. While the campaign wasn't anything to brag about, Alan only has to make up 2.1% plus one vote to take out Steve Stuart. With hard-right breaking votes to be counted in the next 31,000, I think he may just get it done. We'll sure know more by COB tomorrow.

Considering that alleged Republican Marc Boldt ENDORSED Steve "Easy Money" Stuart for re-election (Getting that quid pro quo thing all lined out) it could be just the tiniest bit awkward in the county commission chamber should Svehaug get this done.

b. That Peck didn't do better.

I thought it was going to be close, but I was reasonably sure that Peck would win. After all, the fact is that electing any democrat in the legislature for anything is yet another vote for the fringe left leadership that led to the horrific $800,000,000 tax increase on all of us from the last session, and Candy Man Moeller's moronic "is it candy or ain't it?" tax that the people slaughtered in the guise of I-1107.

c. That I-1100 didn't win overwhelmingly.

The slimy, nonsensical and moronic ad campaign the unions ran were a crock, start to finish. I was surprised that the people would actually buy into their lies and nonsense and overlook the obvious advantages of getting the state out of any retail liquor sales... or any other retail sales.

I-1100, which I supported, may still win. But I was sure it would be stronger.

3. Biggest disappointment.

That the people elected a worthless nit to a position of importance when she lacked the education, experience and integrity of a picket fence.

Never forget: Without Cathy McMorris-Rogers interfering in our local politics and making a deal with alleged Republican Marc Boldt, there is no way this scarecrow would have been appointed to anything, given the fact that she'd been gone for the ten prior years before McMorris hand-fed her the appointment because of her connection to Boldt.

Herrera accomplished absolutely nothing in the legislature, and she will accomplish absolutely nothing in DC that CMR doesn't order her to do, providing CMR's 5th District with a defacto second member of Congress.... except once again become a legend on the DC party circuit while we're paying her $175K to boogie.

Clearly, people like Huff and Barnett lost their minds about Babbling Barbie. And now we all have to suffer as a result.

Other thoughts as they occur.
