The Bellevue Mafia/McMorris Wars against Kirby Wilbur continue unabated.

Filed under the "More things change, the more they stay the same."

McMorris and her winged monkey, Ridgefield Barbie, along with the rest of the Bellevue Mafia continue in their efforts to get rid of Kirby Wilbur and install their own guy, the wishes of the state committee be damned.

You know, I frequently used to wonder why Washington State was so deeply and darkly blue, until I got up there and served in the position of State Republican Executive Director. Then, over a short time, it became clear.

To the lay man, the purpose of the state Republican organization is to get Republicans elected.

After all, isn't that the reason for almost any political organization? To get those they ostensibly represent elected to office?

I've got to tell you... if the GOP in this state worked half as hard... hell, a quarter as hard at getting people elected as they do sticking a shiv in the back of those they disagree with, we'd be as red as Idaho when it comes to a state political party.

The full court press is on from McMorris, Babs and their staffs, along with those who work to control the GOP behind the scenes.

They are as corrupting an influence, using tactics and efforts not unlike their namesake, the REAL Mafia, as any organized crime group known to man.

Wilbur must prevail here, or the entire purpose of the State Committee becomes worthless and a sham.

It is to our everlasting shame that we've elected what amounts to be scum like McMorris and Herrera. They have no purpose, save their own power, and they represent the absolute worst this country has to offer at a time when we need the best to lead us out of the pit of vituperation we've been led into.

McMorris's corruptive influence was felt here when she parachuted that empty suit in here to run for Congress. And we now have McMorris's sock puppet representing us... and McMorris... in Congress... as sickening a political thought as any I've entertained.

But for now, the battle rages behind the scenes, has it has done before, with people of small minds and self indulgence, any thought of sacrifice or dirty hands a long, distant memory... if ever thought of at all... much like many here in the local party, come to think of it.

But this seems to be how business is done.

Hopefully, Wilbur will ignore the efforts of the slime and mud, go directly to the state committee, and get the support he needs in a way that the spineless EBoard can't ignore.

Because if he doesn't... then his tenure will be even more of a living hell then mine. And once again, in 2012... our golden opportunity will be pissed away because of the worthlessness of the state and local county organization.

The leadership of the party will continue to keep this state in the deep, dark, blue column as long as they insist on serving only themselves instead of serving the party they are SUPPOSED to be there to serve. Again... like many at the local level, come to think of it.

Night of the Long Knives 2: McMorris and her puppet, Herrera, are coming after Wilbur

As I indicated when McMorris built Herrera, Ridgefield Barbie would do only and precisely what McMorris told her to do... and as a result, this district has precisely zero congressional representation that McMorris won't allow... if Babs wants to have an opinion, CMR will give her one.

I've also mentioned in the past that McMorris wants to be president some day, in the worst way.

And if she ever pulls that off, rest assured... it WILL be in the worst way.

In the interim, McMorris is doing all she can to fill the political vacuum here in Washington, left by the first departure, and then death of Jennifer Dunn. With the help of the Bellevue Mafia, she is doing everything she can to become Dunn's political clone.

Sources I know and trust are telling me that the Bobbsey Twins, McMorris and her puppet Barbie, are doing all they can to effectively neuter Kirby Wilbur, to include stopping Wilbur's choice for Executive Director.

I've heard, but do not yet have permission to release, details of the efforts of the Executive Board to go after Wilbur in such a way that he would only have an almost ceremonial role in running the state party... and that the steps they're taking would never have been considered had Luke Esser managed to hang on for another term.

On the evening he was elected, I urged Wibur to get his political kevlar on. Kirby needs to bypass the EBoard and go directly to the state committee if he is to have any hope of surviving all of this.

So, there you have it. Wilbur's back looks like a knife target as the Bellevue Mafia seeks to eliminate him in favor of their, and McMorris's, agenda and choice.

No one pays any attention to Herrera because they see her as what she is: a joke. She's McMorris's sock puppet however, although a not particularly intelligent one: that's why her all of two town hall meetings are going to be so short: The less she can talk, the less she can come across like she did during the campaign... an idiot.

That said, there's much more happening behind the scenes. And when I hear it, you're gonna hear it as well.

Ridgefield Barbie's latest set of blinders.

.
My guess is that Babs has written me out of her will. But that's just a guess.

Just today, an entry on the WSRP Facebook page popped up. It was Herrera's usual babble.

"I did this, I picked blueberries... I scammed an appointment (nothing, of course, about her 11 year absence before the appointment or the conspiracy between Cathy McMorris and Marc Boldt that got her the gig...) but maybe it's progress that she left out her "Senior Legislative Assistant" lie.

But what's REALLY catchy is that she wasted fully 1/4 of her self-serving pap posting this:

Let me translate:

If you don't kiss my ring in any comment you might write about me... if you disagree with me about anything... if you believe that I'm unqualified... or that I'm an embarrassment to both Congress and this country... well, don't you dare write that here on my Facebook entry because I'm a little girl and I can't take it.

I bet COL West doesn't have any moronic notice like that. But then, he's already served something much bigger than himself... unlike Barbie.

God help us that we've got such a total wuss allegedly representing us.

Herrera shows her cluelessness: "Praises parts of Obama's speech."

I suppose we shouldn't have expected any less from our own, local version of the Empty Suit in the White House. After all, any alleged Republican who could spew this:
“Not once have you heard me criticize Brian Baird’s performance in Southwest Washington,” she told the editorial board. “Linda Smith and Baird both have an independent streak.”
Is certainly idiotic enough to find reasons to praise her role model.

Barbie needs to remember that her first job is to represent us... not to position herself for a statewide run for the Senate. And in this instance, anyone paying attention knows that there was MUCH more to criticize then to "praise."

But not Ridgefield Barbie. And why am I not surprised?

If only we could have a congressman like this (#217)

I'm a huge Allen West fan. I would cheerfully campaign for and give money to any effort to get the man to run for president.

He has more knowledge about security related issues (And most everything else, as far as that goes) in one fingernail then Barbie has in her entire body.

Compared to COL West, Babs is "unfit to carry the hod."

Here's an example:

If only we had West, a true representative of the people; with proven competence, a proven, valorous record;, a breadth and width of knowledge that Babs can only dream of.

And sadly... dreaming is all we can do as well.

Can I have that 60 seconds back, please? Herrera wasting our time and that of this country.

Look, I never expected anything from Ridgefield Barbie, but her first effort on the floor was such a massive waste that her keepers should have done SOMETHING to make it memorable.

I didn't subject myself to actually watching her speak; after all, the fingernails-on-the-chalkboard phase ended for me when I graduated from college.

But I read the vacuous babbling the rag so breathlessly (as one commenter put it... pant...pant...) told us first, that she was going to engage in and second, as if what she had to say made any difference or ever will make any difference.

Nothing new. Nothing of substance. Nothing accomplished. Kind of a state rep "light" imitation.

Is there some way I can get that 60 seconds back? Can the fed mail me a check? Maybe the state can cut my B&O tax, like they did the rag's?

Nah. That never happens to the little guy.

The reviews are in: Rivers hits a home run.

I've always supported Ann Rivers. And yes, in the interests of full disclosure, she is my business partner.

So, for many, it means little when I say that if, as a state representative, she couldn't cut it, I would flay away at her like I do Ridgefield Barbie; who while not an abysmal failure, did have a tenure marked by the passage of a single bill; while showing herself as a SEIU sell out and her efforts to help the democrats strip out the last $229 million from our emergency fund marked her as a decidedly dullard-type politician.

Rivers on the other hand, is that rare quality of politician, one motivated more by accomplishment than by the self-aggrandizement of the Barbie variety.

Her first week in her first legislative session was of an almost rock-star quality rare in the political realm.

The Daily News has some of the low-down. Rivers shows herself as a legislator we can be proud of.

Nice job, rookie

Thumbs up: Washington state Republicans can take a bow for their less than "conservative" thinking in allowing 18th District Rep. Ann Rivers, a "rookie" from La Center just a few days into her first term, to present the GOP's official rebuttal to Gov. Chris Gregoire's State of the State speech earlier this week.

While there were certainly some Republican veterans who would have welcomed the showcase, House Minority Leader Richard DeBolt looked to the future in pointing the spotlight toward a new face. DeBolt and other Republican leaders in Olympia talk boldly about how they eventually expect to command a legislative majority. The selection of Rivers shows they know they can't reach that status without creating some new stars and flag-bearers.

Long apprenticeships aren't mandatory in today's Washington politics. Clark County Republican Jaime Herrera Buetler, a 30-year-old, first-term state legislator just two years ago, now is a first-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Rivers admitted she was working on her speech long before she received a copy of Gregoire's and didn't do much actual rebutting. It's also difficult under any circumstances to match words and stage presence with Gregoire, a smart, skilled speechmaker.

More important than what Rivers said was that she was chosen to say it and the political thinking that led to the choice.

All of these things are true. And we can all expect great things from Rivers in the future... things where she will actually accomplish something for the people she represents... unlike her predecessor.

Ridgefield Barbie continues to lie about her bio... even in Congress.

When you exhibit the ability to engage in pathological lying, it can be a difficult pattern to break. The result, for many like Barbie, is that they continue to lie, even when they don't have to.

Knowing ahead of time what I would see, I thought I'd check out Bab's congressional bio. And I was not surprised to read what was there.

The following excerpts are demonstrably untrue:
A native of Southwest Washington, Jaime brings legislative experience, an independent voice and a desire to serve her home community to Washington, DC.
Herrera is a wholly owned creation of Cathy McMorris Rogers. Without CMR slamming a few parts together and parachuting Bab's back in here after a 10 year absence, we would never have heard of our congressional cardboard cut out. CMR owns Herrera as if the 13th Amendment was, in reality, the 13th Suggestion.

Washington, DC, IS her "home community."

Herrera even went so far as to lie about not wanting to go back to DC:
In a public tenure marked by her pathological lying, Ridgefield Barbie's appearance on Hannity has set a new standard for this; her newest, greatest lie:
No, actually I didn't (Want to be in Congress). My husband and I, we actually made a cross country trek. We drove out here. On the way, we were reminiscing, when we made the decision to run, it wasn't because we wanted to live here in Washington, D.C.
Clearly, there is NO lie this empty-suit sock puppet for Cathy McMorris won't tell. Hopefully, Hannity finds out he got played and never invites this empty suited, cardboard cut out back on the show again.
When Herrera, of course, came back to take over the 18th District job she lied to the county commissioners who appointed her, a con job planned from the very beginning entirely to position her for a congressional run:
As one of her constituents in the state house for the past 3 years, I looked for that. I eagerly awaited the spark... the proof that she wasn't lying when she told the already-in-the-bag commissioners that
“Every step I have taken since high school has been preparing me for this. There is not a job in the world I would rather have.”

Clearly, her election to Congress 60 seconds later put the lie to that.

Referring to her staff time pouring coffee for McMorris, Barbie continues to insist on calling herself a "Senior Legislative Aide," while I insist on calling her on that lie:
From 2005-07 Jaime worked in Washington D.C. as a Senior Legislative Aide for Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Spokane).
Records at the link show she was never more then a "Legislative Aide" as opposed to a "Senior Legislative Aide" and, as a result, she was never paid more then a receptionist at most companies: around $3400 a month, excluding any bonus.

Wow. That's SOME senior level position.

And these whoppers:
In the legislature Jaime worked hard and earned a reputation as an intelligent and independent voice in Olympia.
While she had a variety or "reputations," "intelligent and independent" weren't among them.

She had a reputation as a sell out. Co-sponsoring an SEIU bill that would have forced unionization of daycare workers while forcing their daycare owners to pay their union dues, for example, is certainly not "intelligent." It IS "independent," if independent means you've become a shill for the SEIU, abandoning both Republican and conservative principles.
She was elected by her colleagues as Assistant Floor Leader, the youngest member of her party's leadership in the State House.
Barbie got the job because no one else wanted it and DeBolt (House GOP Leader) needed a face. Any election was pro-forma... because no one else wanted the hassle. It wasn't any recognition of anything she'd done as much as it recognized what she was marketing herself as: a female of half hispanic decent... an issue she tried to bury by suddenly taking on her husband's last name... EXACTLY like CMR did, in PRECISELY the same way. Some independence.
Her first bill, a bipartisan proposal to give tax relief to business owners serving in the military, was signed into law on March 27, 2008.
Her "first bill" was the "baby bill" that everyone there gets when they show up to teach them the system. It's an agreed bill, assigned to new members, to teach them how to deal with testifying in hearings, figure out fiscal notes, arrange for supporting testimony and get some solid experience in how the place runs.

Everyone gets such a bill, and Barbie never had any other bill that she sponsored pass.

Wow. That's a tenure to be proud of.

And this garbage:
Jaime states her purpose very clearly: "I will be a member of Congress more concerned with saving your money than spending your money."
This from the same woman who burned almost $500 for meals over 3 days on a boondoggle trip to Spokane?

This from a woman who helped the democrats vaporize the last $229 million in the state emergency fund?

Herrera, who has no private sector experience, lied precisely this way during her campaign. The most troubling aspect of all of this is that she lies, even when she doesn't have to lie.

And there's a term for that.

Another lie from Ridgefield Barbie... this time on ABC News!

So, I was sent a link to a video on ABC News. In the video, it shows, once again, that we are cursed with a pathological liar representing us (Or should I more properly say, representing the 5th District along with her keeper, Cathy McMorris Rogers?) who has now indicated her desire to lie to anyone, at any time, about anything.

In this case, it's in this video a little over 1/4th of the way in:

In this scene, Barbie is answering the question: "Why did we decide to drive?"

And she stands there with a reasonable straight face (Or, at least as straight as she can make her face) and tells us:

"It's more economical."

Please.

This from a woman who managed to stuff almost $500 worth of taxpayer refunded dollars in food down her throat on a 3 day boondoggle trip to Spokane and Seattle from DC?

This from the woman who ditched us during session to fly out to a McMorris-Rogers/Gorton dog and pony show in DC to model for the big check writers who financed her campaign?

This from a woman who voted with the democrats to strip out the last $229 million from the state's emergency fund?
.
Every cent she spends on this trip is reimbursable. She has a track record of failing to give a damn about our money. And now she's going to use this bogus trip (The same one I made to help Linda Smith set up her office in 1994.) to shill herself as some sort of fiscal conservative?
.
Not likely.
.
Given her complete lack of qualifications and real life experience, the best we could have hoped for was a non-cynical effort to tell the truth.
.
We are going to be sadly disappointed.

The question why Ryan Hart endorsed Ridgefield Barbie is answered: She bought him.

Politics is a quid pro quo deal, but I never thought that Ryan Hart was endorsing Barbie because she bought him... but that's a hard conclusion to avoid now.

As a county chair, Hart had no right to endorse in a contested primary. His "reason" for violating the ethics of his position was always lame ("I promised") and so I wondered for the last year why he would chuck the responsibilities of his position to sell out to the local empty suit.

Well, now I know.

Hart just got announced as the Camas Manikin's district director. So, his endorsement was the price of getting on congressional staff.

Thanks a lot, Ryan. Appreciate you selling us out.
Congressional Staff
Posted on 4th January 2011 at 08:53

Third District Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler is starting to round out her staff, announcing that Ryan Hart and Shari Hildreth will lead her District Office. Hart will be the District Director, while Hildreth will be the Deputy District Director. Herrera Beutler says that both Hart and Hildreth are local residents that have a “passion” for the region, and will be able to hit the ground running, helping to serve the people of the area from day one. She also announced yesterday that the Vancouver District Office will officially open Thursday morning. Herrera Beutler will have her Vancouver office at the O. O. Howard House, located at 750 Anderson Street, Suite B. The office will open at 8 am on Thursday, and will be open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The phone number is 360-695-6292, and the fax is 360-695-6197. If the address and phone numbers seem somewhat familiar, that’s because Herrera Butler is renting the same space that Brian Baird used for his district office, and is taking over the same phone numbers. Her website at www.herrerabeutler.com will go live after tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony in Washington, D. C.
Well, at least it wasn't that clueless moron from Pacific County or that idiot from Snohomish.

If only we could have had Allen West representing us in Congress...

Instead of that paper-thin, empty-suited non-entity that we are unfortunate to be stuck with, Republican Representative and war hero Allen West (R-FL22) is the kind of Congressman we need.
I really like the sound of our guys on the Sunday talk shows.

Let's start with Rep.-Elect Allen West (R-FL) on Fox News Sunday.

Q: Then, in November, you said -- and here's the quote -- "that this liberal, progressive, socialist agenda... this left-wing, vile, vicious, despicable machine that’s out there is soundly brought to its knees..." Tyrannical? Socialist? Despicable? Is it really as bad as that?

A: "I think it is... when you look at the nationalization of so much of our production: the automobile industry, the health care industry, the fact that we had an amendment in the health care law that allowed the federal government to take over education, when you look at the fact that we are creating more victims and making more people dependent upon the government... when you look at the incredible debt and deficits that has occurred over the last two fiscal years, we're going in the wrong direction...

...This liberal-progressive agenda is the antithesis of who we are as a Constitutional republic."
I really, really, really like Allen West.
Unlike Ridgefield Barbie, Colonel West fearlessly speaks his mind.

But then, unlike Babs, prevarication has not been one of West's fine suits.

Is he over the top?

Maybe. But there is no question where he stands, unlike our bimbette, who has yet to make her positions clear on ANYTHING... but then, that's what cowardice can do for a girl, I suppose.

I hope that LTC West has just started his political journey. I hope that Herrera's ends as quickly as possible.
