Heck begins to campaign... for Herrera.

At the union wake held at Firefighter's Local 452 Hall, Denny Heck officially began to campaign for Ridgefield Barbie.
Stakes are high in Washington’s 3rd, which has been ranked the No. 1 House race in the country by MSNBC, Heck said. “You all were incredibly helpful in the primary,” he said. “We have 56 days to go from today.” Without mobilization of Democratic voters, he said, “you could wake up on Wednesday (after Election Day) and have someone who sounds a lot like Linda Smith.”
Denny, here's a clue: while Babs isn't fit to carry Linda's luggage; Linda Smith, it seems to me, is exactly the kind of representative the vast majority of the 3rd CD is looking for.

Your ONLY hope is to move right. Period.

You have to figure out a way to get past the fear that your election means another vote for that blithering idiot, the Belle of Botox, Pelosi.

You have to figure out a way to reassure the people that you will not vote for any more tax increases or bail outs.

In case you haven't noticed, even a clueless moron like Herrera is kicking your butt sideways in the polls. Resurrecting the "specter" of another Linda Smith is exactly what you DON'T want to do.

Because every time you do it, you're rounding up more votes for Barbie.

Seriously.

  1. It should also be noted that the deployment of the USS Belleau Wood to East Timor was hardly a "classified" deployment as it was well publicized at the time. It deployed in October 1999 to aid the Australians in their effort in East Timor in a "support and logistics" capacity.

The "smoke screen" supplied by 'J' of "Clinton SAID no combat Troops is near laughable, considering Hedrick's record indicates 0 days combat and no combat related awards. Even "classified" missions earn medals, especially for those who out-Rambo Rambo.

I am confident that in the Marines, much like the Army, a basic rifleman, much like basic infantry in the Army, fill varied non-combative roles during peacetime service.

It should be remembered that at the August 18, 2009 Town Hall, when Hedrick confronted Brian Baird, some of the first words out of his mouth were, "I am a disabled former Marine." Such a comment at that date leads one to believe service in the War on Terror and the disability gained in combat service.

It would be more truthful for me to be going around claiming I am a "Disabled Veteran" due to my Type II Diabetes, which is presumptive for having served in Viet Nam and exposed to herbicides.

Charlatans embellishing on an honorable, but unspectacular Military Record often rely on claims of "classified" service as such claims are difficult to disprove to civilians who never served. Military Veterans know they are BS 99% of the time, though.

I once told a Swift Boat Veteran the phrase "there were no cooks in Viet Nam." He did not grasp what I was saying until I explained that today, where Viet Nam Veterans gather to "discuss" their service, no one makes claims of being just a mess hall cook or company clerk, although men served honorably in those capacities.

I held young David Hedrick in much respect until my first encounter with him face to face and he tried to pull that "classified mission," "one of those we were where we weren't supposed to be" things on me.

Had he told me something along the lines of he fell off of a bar stool drunk and injured his back, I probably would have laughed with him and bought him a beer.

Instead, he tried to paint a false aura to better his credibility.

I have no respect for that.
